DESCRIPTION:

The Supply Chain Client Sr. Analyst is part of the Corporate Client Team.
He or she will play a leadership role in ensuring that company, global business with operations on four continents, reaches its short term and long-term growth objectives.
This position is focused on Client support for Operations Teams including Global Sourcing and Logistics.
This position will report directly into the Director of Corporate Client.
The position will report indirectly (dotted line) into the VP of Global Sourcing, as well as the various Directors in his department.
This position will not have any direct reports at this time but will be responsible for coordinating Client related work done by the GBS COE, Procurement Category Directors and Managers, and Logistics Directors and Managers on a daily basis.
This position will be the primary liaison between Finance Leadership and Supply Chain Leadership.
Creates financial plans such as the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), the Three-Year Plan and monthly or quarterly Forecasts for Supply Chain Departments including Global Sourcing and Transport.
Assists executive management with monthly, quarterly, and annual analysis of the PandL, balance sheet, cash flow, inventory, capital, and head count related to supply chain operations.
Supports the Global Sourcing team with reporting, analysis, forecasting, and master data management (i.e. of standard costs, materials master data, and supplier master data) that helps clearly show performance vs. plan related to the approximately 1 billion dollars in purchases they make yearly.
Identifies gaps to financial goals and prioritizes actions Optimizes and in some cases builds from scratch Client
processes connecting supply chain operations to corporate financial reporting
Manage and maintain data warehouse of Logistics data and produce regular reports to analyze spend data and perform in depth financial analysis.
Work with Logistics leadership to develop global freight budgets.
Lead monthly, quarterly and yearly Logistics budgeting or reporting process.
Responsible for routinely evaluating and improving the analytics tools within the Logistics Dept Play key role in global network analysis to optimize freight expense reduction opportunities.
Analyze spend data and perform in depth financial analysis.
Be a leader within the supply chain team on project management.
Consolidate direct and indirect raw material spend data from multiple ERPs, standardize and clean the data, and report on monthly inflation and purchase price variance (PPV).
Develop quarterly forecasts for inflation and PPV by creating templates for the Procurement Category Managers then consolidating and reviewing their results with them. Lead the production of the Supply Chain VP?s Quarterly Performance Management Presentation.
Assist in the creation of material cost standards in the yearly budgeting process.
Optimize the calculation methodologies for price, volume, mix, and Foreign Exchange impacts on inflation reporting.
Manage supplier rebates requirements, backup data and supporting documentation, forecasts, actuals, budgets, and collections.
Highly organized and able to efficiently organize others
Strong sense of accountability and ownership
Accuracy and precision in all matters of presenting and reporting data
Ability to lead, influence, build consensus and work effectively in teams
Strong analytical, quantitative, financial modeling, process building, and project management skills
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills including but not limited to project planning, time management, project management, and management of direct and indirect reports
A proven track record of reporting and utilizing financial information to drive business performance
Ability to strike a balance between having strong data or analysis and having enough inputs for practical decision making
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
BS in finance, supply chain management or other quantitative degree
MBA Preferred Up to 15percent travel required
Very strong proficiency and experience using Excel
Proficiency and experience using Access and other data bases preferred
5-10 years of sourcing or supply chain or Client experience
3-5 years of people management and project management experience
Knowledge of Lean Sigma a plus
Experience with financial systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, HFM, Hyperion, Essbase) is most helpful.
