We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Production Operator to join our team in the Biomedical Packaging department within the Medical industry. As a Production Operator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our biomedical products by adhering to stringent packaging protocols. You will be responsible for operating specialized packaging machinery, conducting quality inspections, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Job Responsibilities: (Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities) Pay rate - $26.50/hr. 1st shift - 9AM-5:30PM ? Learn and understand: o All Custom Reagent Technician I responsibilities o Basic set up and assembly procedures o Intermediate Custom Order processing o Material inventory management and accountability o Working within the SAP production system ? Competency in using the following OptiBuild equipment/software: o Manual and electronic single channel pipettes o Electronic scales o Zebra label printer o Semi-automatic bagger o TECAN EVO automation solution machines and relevant software o Other department equipment as necessary ? Meet daily/weekly/monthly departmental production objectives efficiently and effectively with a high degree of quality. ? Support departmental supplies and material management function including storing, retrieving and staging supplies/materials as required. ? Support and participate in daily shift start up meetings and LDMS. ? Support Continuous Improvement and Process Improvement projects. ? Understand and input production data, as required, in the SAP system and/or other Production Planning/Manufacturing Resource database system(s). ? Ability to pull data from the SAP system and/or other Production Planning / Manufacturing Resource database system(s) for manipulation and analysis. ? Follow all department guidelines and procedures. ? Follows , Health and Safety (EH&S) policies and procedures. Takes responsibility for safety in immediate work area. Participates in EH&S programs. Notifies supervisors of all observed hazardous conditions or unsafe work practices. May provide recommendations on maintaining the safety of the work environment. Education and Experience: ? High school diploma or GED ? Ability to read, write and speak English fluently ? Intermediate computer skills ? Perform intermediate math calculations ? 3-5 years relevant work experience required Knowledge and Skills: ? Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks ? Good written and verbal communication skills ? Proficient learner with new tasks and methods ? Strong teamwork attribute ? Ability to lift 20-30 pounds unassisted. BD04123JD | |
