Position: Material Handler Email and phones of recruiter: GG Urbina - (501) 530-4311 (TEXT ONLY) email: gurbina@jobsrus.com Pay: $18.00/ $19.00 per hour to start Shift: Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 3:30pm p.m. + OT as needed Monday - Friday, 11 a.m. - 7:30pm p.m. + OT as needed Scope of Position: Material Handler, loading and unloading of freight and goods...breaking down of pallets, building of pallets and inventory order. Requirements: Must be able to lift 40 pounds or more, physically able to work this position. Key Responsibilities: Essential Functions: ? Moves materials off trucks, pallets or racks and prepares orders for shipment while sorting and segregating materials onto correct pallets or other locations based on item number. ? Place labels on boxes or pallets as instructed in the process ? Wrap pallets with stretch wrap and other packaging supplies ? Put away product in designated warehouse locations ? Identify damage, loss, or surplus of materials and communicate issues ? Utilizes RF (Radio Frequency) equipment to track product ? Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. ? Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, bend, lift, push and pull and withstand temperatures in a warehouse environment. ? Ability to understand and follow instructions ? Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers ? Keep clean and safe work environment ? Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations, including safety. Required Education and Experience: ? High School Diploma or GED preferred ? Attendance priority ? Clean background and a passing drug screening is required ? 1 year of relevant warehouse and distribution experience preferred ? Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment ?
