Day starts at: 6:00AM
Day Ends at: 2:30PM

DESCRIPTION:

Job Summary:
Replenishes chemicals from stock to production locations

Essential Responsibilities and Functions:
Moves and stages full drums, totes, and pallet loads of materials to compounders in production as needed.
Removes empty drums and empty totes from production and drop areas and places in recycling area.
Maintains high use raw material stations, including hot room, powder area, dispensing drum area, manual pour raw material areas.
Using Fricke inventory management or forecast system, and in partnership with Automation Operator, ensures staging of raw materials to ensure efficient operation of robot.
This includes retrieving drums, staging on lift and off-loading at mezzanine.
Responsible for maintaining proper inventory levels in 3 bulk storage tanks, refills as needed using portable pump.
Using Fricke Inventory management system, responsible for proper inventory levels in 10 totes (aka day tanks).
Bring materials to mezzanine area and pumps raw materials into totes
Operates various types of material-handling equipment, such as forklift trucks, hand trucks, and drum lift, elevator, in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
Maintains a clean and safe work area, and adheres to safety regulations, and procedures, understanding the hazards that are associated with the job duties, to include chemicals and power operated vehicles.

Non-essential Responsibilities and Functions:
Assists other areas as necessary.
Trains new Material Handlers.
Participates in year-end physical inventory.

Ability to understand and follow directions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of cleaning solutions and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Degree or equivalency (GED) required.
Prior forklift experience.
Good communication skills.
Ability to handle heavy materials including drums (lifting requirement of up to 60 lbs.)
Possesses strong commitment to team environment dynamics.
SAP is a plus
