JobsRUs.com. is seeking to hire a Spring Fabricator II for our client in Mayville, WI! Pay $20.21/Hour SPRING FABRICATOR Labor Grade 2 1st Shift: Monday - Friday with mandatory OT that can extend the M-F work hours up to 10 hours and also requires every other Saturday as needed to meet production needs. 6:00 am - 2:30 pm JOB SUMMARY: Operate a variety of machines to produce / assemble springs under the supervision of a Spring Fabricator #1 or lead person. Will have the opportunity to acquire the skills necessary to advance to Spring Fabricator #1 classification. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Must be able to read and understand blueprints and produce parts from the information obtained to the required tolerances. Responsible for the quality of the parts produced and perform first-piece inspection, as well as subsequent inspections, to ensure overall quality. Responsible for taking care of routine maintenance and keeping the work area neat and clean. Follow all rules regarding machine operation and machine guarding. Maintain simple reports on productivity, quality and safety. QUALIFICATIONS: Possess inspection equipment to ensure the quality of the parts produced. Must be equipped with all the required tools to perform the functions of their job. Physical ability to do work requiring frequent standing and lifting up to 30 lbs. frequently. Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports. Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines and inspect parts. Sufficient manual dexterity to operate the equipment properly. SPRING FABRICATOR REQUIRED TOOLING LIST Per article X, section "K of the contract these tools must be acquired within the prescribed time period in order for the employee to be classified. Allen Wrench Set, (1/16 inch Standard) Set of Combination Wrenches, (3/8 inch Standard) Socket Set w/ratchet, (3/8 inch Standard) Tape measure, (12 foot) Set of Screw Drivers, (Standard and Phillips) Adjustable Wrench, (8-inch minimum) Soft Faced Hammer Ball pen Hammer Pliers, (Standard and Needle Nose) Vise Grip, (6-inch minimum) Box Knife Drift Punch Tool Box for above tools | |
