Job Description: As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling small, complex hydraulic systems, including fuel pumps and pneumatic valves. This role requires strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude, as you will work with precision hand tools, power tools, and blueprints to assemble components that ensure high-quality standards for military and aviation applications. This position offers a direct hire opportunity with long-term potential for growth and development within the company. Key Responsibilities: ? Assemble fuel pumps, pneumatic valves, and related components using hand tools and power tools. ? Follow detailed work instructions and blueprints to assemble products with high precision. ? Ensure that assembled components meet quality standards and specifications. ? Utilize test equipment to verify the functionality of products. ? Work collaboratively in small team-based ?cell? environments. ? Demonstrate excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail during assembly. ? Ensure a safe and clean work environment at all times. Required Skills & Experience: ? Mechanical Aptitude: 2+ years of experience in small precision assembly or general labor with measurement tasks. ? Tool Experience: Proficient with hand tools and power tools, including the use of micrometers or similar measuring instruments. ? Blueprint/Work Instruction Interpretation: Ability to read and understand blueprints and assembly instructions. ? Attention to Detail: Strong manual dexterity and precision work required. ? Problem-Solving: Able to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions during the assembly process. ? Effective Communication: Ability to work closely with others in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. ? Self-Motivated and Adaptable: Comfortable with change and flexible in a fast-paced environment. ? Dependable and Goal-Oriented: High standard for product quality and personal accountability. Additional Requirements: ? Mandex test will be required during the interview. ? High school diploma or GED required; must present a copy prior to interview. ? Strong tenure/longevity on resumes (no job hoppers). ? Must live within 30 minutes of Elyria, OH, and have reliable transportation. Benefits: ?
