Job Posting: Division Sourcing & Procurement Manager Location: Simi Valley, CA Pay Range: $160K - $175K plus 15% ACIP Bonus This is a Direct Hire Position Company Overview: JobsRUs.com is partnering with our client to find a Division Sourcing & Procurement Manager. This role is based at their Simi Valley, CA location within the Fire, Safety, and Power Systems Division. Job Description: As the Division Sourcing & Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for leading procurement operations to support production processes, managing raw materials, equipment, and supplies. This is a high-level, strategic role, not a Purchasing Manager role. You will manage procurement across multiple sites, ensure supplier performance, and integrate lean practices into procurement processes. You will work with various teams and have the opportunity to drive continuous improvement and manage key supplier relationships. Key Responsibilities: ? Direct daily procurement activities for raw materials, equipment, and services, ensuring alignment with production specifications and schedules. ? Develop and manage strong supplier relationships, overseeing supplier negotiations and performance improvements. ? Ensure compliance with governmental procurement regulations and manage supplier evaluations. ? Utilize strategic suppliers, optimize cost-efficiency, and enhance quality and delivery. ? Troubleshoot, solve procurement issues, and support supplier recovery efforts. ? Manage standard work processes and provide guidance on electronic procurement interfacing. ? Lead and/or supervise sourcing specialists, buyers, and commodity managers. ? Establish crisis management programs, supplier backup contingencies, and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications: ? Education: Bachelor?s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Engineering, or Materials Management. ? Certifications (preferred): ? Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) ? Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) ? Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) ? Experience: Minimum 6-8 years in procurement and managerial roles. Skills: ? Strong SAP experience ? Advanced Excel and financial acumen ? Project management and troubleshooting capabilities ?
