Job Posting: Quality Inspector Company: JobsRUs.com in partnership with our client Location: Devens, MA Schedule: Start time varies between 6:30 AM ? 7:30 AM Pay Range: $18.87 - $21.00 per hour Shift: 1st shift This is a direct hire position Position Overview We are seeking a Quality Inspector (QA Inspector B) to join our team in a full-time role at our Devens, MA facility. Under direct guidance in a team environment, the Quality Inspector is responsible for performing basic inspection requirements. Key Responsibilities ? Perform basic parts inspection using gauges and instruments such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, thread, plug, and ring gauges, hardness testers, spring testers, or related equipment. ? Operate a surface analyzer to determine parts? finish. ? Observe and perform audits of assembly, test, machining, and other functions for compliance with procedures. ? Document acceptances and rejections and route inspected parts accordingly. ? Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files. ? Issue and recall measuring and test equipment as needed. ? Perform basic calibration on various types of measuring and test equipment. ? Determine measuring and test equipment acceptability to tolerances. Qualifications ? High School Diploma or equivalent required. ? Minimum one year of inspection or related experience, or demonstrated ability to perform required tasks. ? Preferred: Level 1 Nondestructive Test Inspector certification (in accordance with MIL-STD-410 and PES1-29). ? Ability to read and understand blueprints, manufacturer specifications, and electrical instruments/gauges. ? Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics. ? Familiarity with applicable military standards preferred. ? Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. ? Ability to work effectively as part of a team. ?
