Pay Rate - $18.50/hr
3rd Shift: 11pm-7:30am, with the ability to flex as needed

Job Description
Inspect and test processed, machined, fabricated or assembled parts or products for defect, wear, and deviations from specifications. Typically has a high school diploma. The technical skills include the knowledge of machines and tools.

Education/Experience
o Associates degree or equivalent experience/training required
o Entry level - 2 years experience required, preferably in quality

Responsibility level
o Exercises moderate independent judgment with direction from supervisor

Skills
o Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability (Required)
o Team player and detail oriented (Required)
o Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods (Typically required)
o Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance (Required)

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
o Discard or reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications.
o Analyze and interpret blueprints, data, manuals, and other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment and certification methods, formulas, and measuring instruments required.
o Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, installations, and work for conformance to specifications.
o Record inspection or test data, such as weights, temperatures, grades, or moisture content, and quantities inspected or graded.
o Mark items with details such as grade and acceptance or rejection status.
o Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
o Analyze test data and make computations as necessary to determine test results.
