JobsRUs.com. is seeking to hire a Logistics Operator for our client in Kingstree SC! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $18.00/Hour Shift Details: 1st shift Working Days: Monday - Friday Day starts at: 7:30AM Day Ends at: 4:00PM DESCRIPTION: Key Areas of Accountability or Responsibility: Use of Company vehicles (to include forklifts) and equipment to load or unload and transport materials in a safe manner. Complete accurate documentation and maintain correct inventory of items; adhering to GMP practices and paperwork requirements. Repackage and preparation of materials for use in production areas, may involve converting measurements between standard and metric versions. Transfer of materials to and from rail cars, attach flanges and couplings to prepare cars for use and break down for return, which requires bending, stooping, and crawling under rail cars. Transfer of materials to and from road tankers and rail cars, which requires climbing vertical ladders to perform various tasks on top of rail cars and over the road tankers. Transfer of materials to and from freezer areas, which requires working in extremely cold environment, as cold as -20o Fahrenheit. Maintain orderly and clean work area; perform housekeeping duties. Ensure Quality procedures, Management Directives and Quality. Report any quality deviations or non-conformances that you observe. Support routine Quality talks or briefings with staff to raise Quality awareness (for those with direct reports) Has the authority to intervene in the event of a quality or safety protocol concern Top 3 Skills or Requirements: Forklift Driver, Attention to Detail, Accountability, and Thrive in fast-paced Environment micro-soft word, SAP preferred skills | |
