JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a Field Technician for our client to work across LA County! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $33.94/Hour Shift: M-F 8 am-5 pm with occasional overtime. We are seeking a skilled Field Technician to support various site installations, coordinate third-party vendor work, and mount access points on ceilings, walls, and poles. The role involves running and terminating Ethernet cables, connecting APs to network closets, and performing Wi-Fi speed testing. You will also test fiber optics, assess dark fiber, and ensure proper cable management through ceilings, walls, and raised flooring while adhering to building codes. This is a hands-on, physical role requiring experience configuring network switches, bending conduits, and installing network equipment. Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years of experience in network installations. The main function of a Field Technician is the planning, expansion and commissioning of radio network /repeater systems on site (in workshops of manufacturers and operators of trains, in technical rooms in railway and road tunnels, shopping centers, airports, football stadiums, etc.). Job Responsibilities: . Acceptance measurements with a spectrum analyzer, creation of system documentation, measurement and maintenance reports . Product support and technical contact for the customer by phone and on site . Fault rectification, system measurements, error analyzes and maintenance work Qualifications: . High school diploma or GED required with completed technical training in the field of electrical engineering, electrical installer or in radio / television technology . 2-4 years of experience . Professional experience with the installation and commissioning of electronic devices . Knowledge and experience in the radio field (HF / mobile radio / spectrum analyzer) is an advantage- Good to have . Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Office applications . Willingness to work away from home, flexible working hours and open to learning new things . Class B OR Class C driving license | |
