JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a Logistics Technician for our client in Phoenix, AZ! Benefits Available! Pay Rate - $21/hr 1st Shift: 6am-2:30pm Job Description Under minimal supervision, coordinates and expedites the flow of material, parts, tools, and equipment. Responsibilities include tracking and handling high volume and high cost material and equipment, and complying with asset management policies and procedures. Handling receipts, issues, transfers, physical inventory, records, and closeout for assets. Compiles records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued. Prepares inventory records and reports and investigates discrepancies in stock counts. Verifies accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments, tracking and reporting any discrepancies. Experience in conducting government property inventory. Knowledge and understanding of FAR 52.245-1 Required Education and Skills AA degree and at least 1 year of proven work experience. High School Diploma or Equivalent and at least 3 years of directly related work experience. Will consider active military duty in lieu of years of experience. Ability to lift and move at least 35 pounds and be on your feet throughout the day. Must be able to obtain forklift certification. Understanding of the inventory database management system (Equip, SAP) and basic computer skills. Must be both independently self motivated and ability to work with in a team environment. Desired Skills Advanced computer skills using Excel, SAP and Equip. Forklift certified. | |
