Production Assembler I (Temp) JobsRus.com is hiring for our client: Airframe Systems Ventura County ? Job Title: Production Assembler I (Temp) ? Shift: 1st Shift ? Pay Rate: $20/hr ? Req #: 151 ? Location: Simi Valley, CA ? Type of Position: Contract/Temp Job Description: The Production Assembler I performs routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations under well-defined instructions, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety procedures. Core Responsibilities: ? Assemble small parts or components per company instructions and procedures. ? Review shop traveler route cards or simple schematic drawings for the correct sequence of operations. ? Use a binocular microscope to position very small parts such as ceramic boards, crystals, gages, fine pins, solder particles, and epoxy using tweezers or positioning fixtures. ? Adjust, bend, align, and solder fine wires to resistors and base parts. ? Bond or seal parts or assemblies using epoxies, direct heating elements, or ovens. ? Perform various in-process testing. ? Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. ? Perform additional responsibilities as assigned. ? Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance, with potential for night/weekend shifts and additional hours as needed. Preferred Qualifications: ? Nice to have: Experience operating a sewing machine. Job Requirements: ? Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. ? Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships, or relevant experience in a related field. ? Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience. ? Skills: o Good mechanical aptitude. o Ability to operate hand tools and light machinery. o Capable of performing basic math. o Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manufacturing instructions, policies, and procedures. o Good manual dexterity for handling small parts. o Problem-solving skills using existing procedures. o Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
