JobsRUs.com. is seeking to hire a Warehouse Associate for our client in La Porte,IN! Pay $18.00/Hour Work shift is a late second shift. 4:30 pm - 12:30 am paid lunch break. This is a customer-facing position. It is not a traditional warehouse position where the entire time is spent in the back moving material. Train on 1st shift for 1 week before moving to shift, will be able to be flexible and can discuss during interview. Must haves: 6 months warehouse experience Customer Service background helpful Computer experience in excel, word, helpful-20% of the shift is receiving items into the computer inventory system. Receiving experience Ability to work well on their own and can be a leader Qualifications: A background in Warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred. MRO product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it. Ability to hand a physically position, lifting, bending, twisting and pulling for full 8 hours shift. Use of Pallet jacks or walk behind lifts. Responsibilities: Pull and prepare orders for shipment. Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
