Pay Rate - $31-41/hr Job Description Specific accountabilities include: The incumbent will support senior scientists with method development and validation for flavors and ingredients in tobacco and non-tobacco related matrices. The incumbent will support and perform routine and non-routine testing for tobacco and non-tobacco products including: sample preparation, instrumental analysis, and data review. The incumbent will perform analysis on a wide range of product types utilizing common extraction techniques and analytical instrumentation Desired Qualifications include: Bachelor?s degree in Chemistry, Biology or closely related field with demonstrated experience in an analytical chemistry testing laboratory A minimum of 1-3 years laboratory experience working with GC/MS, HPLC, UPLC and/or LC/MS instrumentation for analysis of analytes in complex matrices. General working experience with GC/MS and HPLC/UPLC systems is required, and working experience with LC/MS systems is preferred Experience with sample preparation and extraction techniques (LL, SPE, etc.) for the quantitative analysis of target compounds in complex matrices | |
