Pay Rate - $24/hr

Job Description
Performs full range of procurement and administration activities associated with subcontracting work. Under direct supervision the candidate will qualify suppliers, issues requests for proposals, evaluate proposals, maintains subcontract files in accordance to established procedures. Displays core job competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills.
Duties and Responsibilities: Qualifying subcontractors Issuing requests for information (RFIs)
Prepares subcontract documents and amendments, including identification and inclusion of flow down requirements from the prime contract. Performing commercial evaluations of proposals. Issuance of properly authorized awards/subcontracts. Cradle to grave subcontract management (pre-award to file closeout).
Serves as liaison between subcontractor and project manager.
Issuing requests for proposals (Request for Proposal R-FPs).

Required Education and Experience
Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree or 1-2 years equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
1-2 years of related experience

Required Skills
Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
Customer service oriented. Must be proficient in the use of MS office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
A working knowledge of the various types of contracts, including Cost Reimbursable, Firm Fixed Price and Time and Materials types.
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the company organization
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure
Ability to be flexible and embrace change
Self-motivated and takes initiative

Desired Education, Experience, and Skills
Undergraduate degree
3-4 years of related experience
A working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
Cost Point / Deltek experience is a plus
