Pay $22.00/Hour Monday through Friday 7 am to 4 pm flexible 1/2 hour to 1 hour lunch depending on work schedule Job Description: We are seeking enthusiastic, entry-level candidates to join our team as Rotating Equipment/Pump Repair Technicians. This role involves hands-on work with various types of pumps and requires a keen eye for detail and precision. Must haves: Mechanical Maintenance Experience: At least 1 year of recent experience in mechanical maintenance type experience. Measurement Skills: Proficiency in using micrometers, gauges, and indicators. Key Responsibilities: Master Precision Tools: Utilize micrometers and gauges to measure with high accuracy. Training will be provided to ensure proficiency in reading measurements to the thousandth of an inch. Industry Experience or Training: Hands-on experience or training with centrifugal pumps, including vertical turbines and split case pumps, as well as positive displacement pumps. Technical Proficiency: Well-developed ability to use and read micrometers, gauges, and indicators. Basic knowledge of manual machining is a plus. Manuals & Schematics: Accurately interpret installation and operations manuals and schematics. Hands-On Experience: Disassemble and inspect equipment, producing detailed reports. Gain practical skills in measuring and checking components with precision tools. Mechanical and Repair Abilities: Demonstrate general mechanical and repair skills. Construction and Building Maintenance Knowledge: Familiarity with construction and building maintenance practices. Physical Requirements: Requires giving and/or receiving verbal and written communication. Requires standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and/or squatting. Requires getting into positions such as kneeling, crouching, stooping, or crawling. Regularly requires carrying objects that are up to 50lbs. by hand. | |
