JobsRUs.com is currently hiring for Quality Technicians for a large well known automotive parts manufacturing company in Spring Hill, TN!

Openings on each shift.:

1st shift: 6AM ? 2PM

2nd shift: 2PM ? 10PM

3rd shift: 10PM ? 6AM

Responsibilities:
? Train operators on quality systems and/or standards as necessary
? Evaluate/Validate Check-Do-Check and final inspection performed by operators, such as visual inspections (poke yoke - red rabbit), functional tests, SPC checks, etc.
? Conduct quality checks/tests/measurements as required by the OK 1st piece sheet
? Record quality data, capability or Gauge R&R analysis
? Perform regular Safety & Regulatory (S&R) mandatory rules and 8 Quality Basics (8QB)
assessments on the production line and report results to the Quality Engineers
? Communicate to operators internal and external quality issues affecting customer
satisfaction. He/ She monitors and assure proper documentation and implementation of
containment and corrective actions
? Support other quality-related functions including incoming inspection (SQA), quality
system (QSE), Safety & Regulatory (S&R) and program quality (PQL)
? Support internal and external quality audits as needed
? Captures knowledge and shares best practices / lessons learned across organization

Knowledge/Skills:
? Proficient level of English
? Basic skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint,)
? Customer oriented
? Positive critical thinking behavior
? Knowledge of quality standards and methods (ISO-9001, IATF-16949, APQP, PPAP, MSA,
SPC, etc.)
? Trained in traditional measurement tools (e.g. caliper, micrometer, dial gauges, etc.), error-
proofing devices, and function testers

Education/Experience:
? Minimum education level: Associate degree in Engineering is desired.
If the candidate has less than an Associate degree, the minimum proven experience in
the Automotive industry should be 5-7 years
? 3-5 years of proven experience in the Automotive industry preferred with minimum 3
years in a Quality function
? Experience conducting audits (Product, process)
