Are you looking for a hands-on position in the automotive industry where you can be part of a friendly and supportive team? We are currently seeking a Yard Worker to join our team. As a Yard Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining an organized and tidy yard, managing the flow of vehicles and parts, and supporting various team members as needed. This is a part time position. Day: Friday, 03/21 (and every Friday when an auction is scheduled) Hours: 4:00 PM ? 8:00 PM (potential for permanent positions if performance is satisfactory) Payrate $17.25/hr Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard and garage areas. Assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles and parts. Help to track and inventory automotive products and materials. Support mechanics and technicians with various tasks as required. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times while working in the yard. Conduct regular inspections of yard equipment and report any issues. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate efforts and improve workflow. Requirements Bilingual- Must be able to communicate clearly in English and Spanish Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license. Clean driving record. Ability to lift heavy items up to 50 lbs as needed. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Previous experience in an automotive or warehouse environment is a plus. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Basic mechanical knowledge is a bonus but not required. | |
