Job Title: Business Development Contractor E-Mobility Team Location: New York, NY 10003 Job Type: Contract (with potential for full-time conversion) Pay Rate: $45-50.00/hr Contract Length: 6-12 months Schedule: 3 days onsite 2 days remote About the Role: The E-Mobility Team is seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Contractor to support its efforts in advancing medium- and heavy-duty electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure. This dynamic role involves managing key stakeholder relationships, driving project initiatives, and supporting the development of innovative solutions that promote sustainable transportation. Key Responsibilities: Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, government entities, and industry players, ensuring alignment on goals and priorities. Business Development: Identify and evaluate opportunities for expanding the clients medium- and heavy-duty EV infrastructure programs. Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute complex projects related to EV infrastructure deployment, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met. Analytics & Reporting: Analyze data to assess project performance, market trends, and stakeholder needs, providing actionable insights and recommendations to the team. Communications: Prepare and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders, conveying complex information in a clear and concise manner. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business objectives with the company's sustainability goals. Must Have Requirements: Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field. 4-7 years of experience in business development, project management, or a similar role, preferably within the medium- and heavy-duty infrastructure or energy sectors. Proven experience managing stakeholder relationships across diverse groups. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with cross team collaboration and communication with c-suite leadership Flex/ Preferred Skills: Experience with marketing strategies, developing outreach campaigns, and event planning Experience with cross team collaboration and communication with c-suite leadership Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences. Passion or interest in sustainability, clean transportation, and EV adoption. Sales and Business Development Soft Skills: Organizational skills & ability to multitask between multiple projects. Leadership skills Experience with Microsoft Office Applications A go-getter mindset with a flexible, solution-oriented approach to challenges. A balance of big-picture strategic thinking and attention to detail. |
