General Summary:
Reporting to Senior Sensory Manager, the Sensory Technician is responsible to assist with the internal sensory testing program.

PART TIME ROLE: Around 20-25 hours per week; the average hours are 5-10 hours per week when not many panels scheduled. One day per week when they do not have testing. On this day, they will answer emails and manage the lab and make sure all suppliers are up to day. Will typically get schedule 1-2 weeks in advance.
Need to be able to grasp things well with training. Need to always be prepared - they have panels scheduled at a certain time and they should be prepared as per their standards 2 hours ahead of schedule.
Cups and lids need to be labeled, samples need to be prepared as necessary. attention to detail matters the most and is KEY for this sensory technician role - all the products need to be of the same temperature. Additionally, this person needs to have strong leadership qualities so they can direct the other assistants on testing day.

Primary Accountabilities:
? Maintain a clean and organized lab that complies with all OSHA and other safety regulations
? Collaborate with project leaders to understand testing needs
? Organize and execute internal tests. Ensure all Compusense designs are finalized by checking codes match with labels, printing out placemats and project is assembled. Export results and write draft reports.
? Design laboratory set-up for projects
? Manage and ensure accurate and timely preparation of all samples and delivery of reliable data to project leaders
? Lead test execution of internal testing panels ensuring valid and reliable data is obtained
? Manage employee testing databases for all internal testing needs
? Proactively look for ways to increase the effectiveness, productivity and success rate of sample preparation and test execution
? Maintain storeroom testing supplies
? Maintain the internal Sensory test calendar as well as the focus group room calendar and consumer kitchen
? Responsible for communicating upcoming testing to Campbell?s employees via e-mails, signs and electronic signs
? Schedule other technicians on a needed basis
? Assist with other test needs as assigned

Key Skills:
? Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
? Solid computer skills and well versed in Windows Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
? Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills.

Minimum Qualifications:
? High school diploma minimum. B.S. degree in preferred.
? 2 years of relevant work experience.
? Ability to taste food and beverages across the product categories.
They will be flex to accommodate the persons other jobs. Ideally want someone onsite Tues-Thurs, but flexible to come in other days if they have another part time job. They are easy to work with on this and ask that this candidate has strong communication - they will discuss a schedule that works, but need them to work at least 5-10 hours. Communication is the key here and if they discuss a plan they will work with the individual candidate.

The candidate will be working in the sensory lab working on samples for employees to test and give feedback. The hours 8 am to 2 pm about 1 day a week is an estimated schedule; need candidate that will be flexible w the hours. The candidate doesn't need sensory testing experience, but some prior lab experience from college courses would be ideal; they will consider candidates without a degree...this candidate will be on their feet most of the day; the lab DOES NOT have windows FYI...MS Office Suite is a requirement. Must have strong communication skills and leadership skills - heavy interactions with internal employee and Sensory PMs - will be guiding lab techs on lab procedures when they DO have testing panels.
