The Material Handler II is responsible for the safe, accurate loading, unloading, and processing of products within the distribution center. Duties include pallet and case picking, inventory movement, operating material handling equipment (MHE), and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Key Responsibilities: Pallet/Case Picking: Process orders, scan barcodes, pick, pack, and label products, and ensure accuracy using RF technology. Pallet Build: Palletize products, re-palletize shipments, and operate shrink wrappers and MHE as needed. Inbound/Outbound/Inventory Movement: Load/unload shipments using WMS, ensuring safe handling and accurate processing of items. Material Handling Equipment (MHE): Safely operate MHE, report maintenance issues, and maintain equipment certification. Safety & Security: Adhere to safety guidelines, report incidents, and maintain a secure warehouse environment. Quality & Housekeeping: Follow quality standards, maintain a clean work area, and assist with facility sanitation. Cross-Training & Hazmat: Cross-train for other positions and complete Hazmat training if required. Job Requirements: High School diploma/GED or 2 years of relevant experience. Experience with MHE (Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, etc.). Ability to obtain Forklift Certification. Good communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Physical Demands: Frequent walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, and use of hands for repetitive tasks.
