Staffing Coordinator

Come join our team as a staffing coordinator at Winchester, VA for a globally known food manufacturer.

Schedule: 10:30pm-7:30am M-F and some OT on Saturdays
Pay: 17.75/hr.
Responsibilities:
Build, maintain, and nurture strong relationships with internal employees and temporary workforce.
Keeps up to date on safety information and relay information during orientations to the temporary workforce.
Performs various administrative tasks that support the overall mission of quality service and performance. Including but not limited to documenting safety issues, tracking hours, keeping timesheets, and using computer/ technical skills to deliver messages promptly to management.
Responsible for contractor scheduling and backfilling.
Obtain detailed assignment information and utilize it to set out temporary workforce expectations.
Keep up to date on job duties for each department and backfill the need with appropriate temporary employee skill sets.
Schedule check-in and provide pre-assignment orientation to all temporary employees. Including giving directions on how to clock in and out and check their hours (if needed).
Monitor temporary employee attendance and performance and communicate concerns to management.
Temporary workforce concerns, infractions, or behavioral issues should be communicated to management.
Safety concerns should be immediately communicated to the assigned Safety regulators and management.
Implement company award programs to recognize the good performance of the temporary workforce.
Produce requested information such as attendance reports, payroll timecards, and any other requested information to management.
Bringing boxes, pouches, glue dots, etc.
Alleviating temporary employees from their shifts to take their assigned breaks.

Qualifications:
Ability to handle multiple schedules, deadlines, and staffing needs.
Efficient at tracking employee hours, shifts, and availability.
Must communicate clearly with staff, management, and external candidates.
Able to address scheduling issues, resolve conflicts, and provide updates effectively.
Bilingual Strong Preferred.
Warehouse experience is preferred as this position is onsite at a temperature-controlled warehouse.
Experience with HR management systems, scheduling software, and payroll platforms (e.g., ADP, Workday, or Kronos).
Capable of handling last-minute changes or unexpected staffing shortages.
Should be proactive in finding solutions, such as cross-training staff or adjusting schedules.
Ensures compliance with legal requirements, including breaks, overtime, and fair scheduling practices.
Builds strong relationships with employees and fosters a positive work environment.
Willing to step in and assist with other HR-related tasks as needed.
