The successful candidate will contribute significantly to our ongoing efforts in developing innovative medical solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role involves applying fundamental and advanced principles of chemistry to support product development, formulation, and characterization of new materials used in reagents. The Scientist 1 will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research and development, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to deliver high-quality products that meet both customer needs and regulatory requirements. Compensation: $25.00- $28/HR DOE Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, hospital indemnity Working Days: Monday - Friday Flexible schedule DESCRIPTION: Roles: Provide technical skill, analytical testing, and engineering support for technology development activities for various medical device products. Support current projects in research and development and pilot-scale manufacturing Focus will be on analytical chemistry work using instruments in the lab. Execute technical and cross-functional project work Follow and execute on standard operating procedures (SOP) and test methods. Coordinate and support maintenance activities of lab as required. Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor or as required to support the business. Must haves: Bachelor?s degree in a relevant major: Chemistry, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, materials science or similar Hands-on chemistry, wet lab, or analysis experience / relevant degree Ability to write detailed technical protocols and reports a strong plus.
