JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a Metrology Calibration Technician for our client in Torrance, CA! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! Pay Rate - $18.50/hr 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm Job Description Calibrates instruments to meet established conformance standards. Tests instrument accuracy and makes adjustments as necessary. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Requires 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Required Education, Experience, and Skills z540/iso 9001 1-3 years of related experience Calibration experience (Pressure, Scales, ESD, Temperature) Desired Experience and Skills 2-5 years of related experience ISO 17025 calibration lab experience Quality database experience Special Considerations: Lifting is generally in the 10 to 15 Lbs. range with minimal repetitions. Exposure to machinery, chemical, biological, and physical risks is minimal. | |
