Job Description
We are seeking a Tech Two for our metrology services. This position is not entry-level; we require candidates with prior metrology experience, particularly in the field of electronics or dimensional calibrations. The role involves working with various electrical equipment, including multimeters and oscilloscopes, to diagnose and troubleshoot at a schematic level. Candidates should have a solid foundation in dimensional calibration. We provide training to advance their skills to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform electrical calibrations using equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical equipment to the schematic level.
Utilize multifunction calibrators (5500 series, 5700 series) and high accuracy multimeters (e.g., 3458, 8588).
Maintain and calibrate electrical equipment to ensure high accuracy and reliability.
Collaborate with lead technicians for training and skill development.

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in metrology, specifically in electrical calibrations.
Familiarity with multifunction calibrators and high accuracy multimeters.
Strong understanding of electrical principles and diagnostic techniques.
Experience with GD&T, gauge blocks, calipers, micrometers (preferred for Tempe location).
Military background with electrical training is a plus.

Required Experience
2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Desired Education, Experience, and Skills
Formal military PMEL, TMDE or calibration school training with proof of attendance.
IndySoft, Fluke Met/Team, Fluke Met/Track and Met/Cal experience a plus.
Applicable technical training, 2 years of direct experience in the field, or an associate degree in engineering technology or other relevant field or 1-year direct experience.
Candidate should possess strong computer skills.
Previous customer service experience is a plus.
Familiarity with hand tools and their usage.
Candidate should be proficient in High School level Algebra.
Dimensional calibration to include gage blocks, calipers, micrometers, thread plug gages, ring gages, and GD&T.
