JobsRUs.com is currently seeking a Tool Crib Coordinator to join our client?s team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a hands-on role supporting tooling operations, requiring precision, organization, and experience in tool management.

Position Summary:
The Tool Crib Coordinator is responsible for providing semi-complex tooling support including tool crib operations, tool setting, and tool grinding. You will work from established procedures, setup instructions, and collaborate across departments to maintain tool readiness and availability.

Key Responsibilities:
Select, assemble, and preset N/C and conventional tooling using precise equipment.

Inspect tools for condition and sharpness; determine if repair, rework, or replacement is needed.

Operate tool and cutter grinders to sharpen basic tooling geometries.

Apply protective coatings and label tools accurately.

Assist with tooling design, construction, and troubleshooting.

Receive, store, issue, and manage tools, jigs, fixtures, and shop supplies.

Maintain accurate records of tooling activity, inventory, breakage, and vendor repairs.

Use computer systems to track and update tooling location and status.

Communicate tooling needs with manufacturing, engineering, and purchasing departments.

Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications:
Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of related tooling experience or equivalent capability.

Skills & Knowledge:

Proficient with precision measuring tools and tool presetting equipment.

Strong understanding of tooling geometry, tool function, and grinding procedures.

Familiar with jigs, fixtures, templates, and standard tooling systems.

Comfortable using computer terminals and basic software for tracking and inventory.

High manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
