Come be a part of our team as a warehouse team with a leading medical manufacturer in Covington, GA! We are seeking a skilled Reach Operator to join our dynamic team in the medical devices industry. As a Reach Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production and distribution of life-changing medical goods. This position requires not only technical expertise but also a commitment to adhering to strict safety standards. You will be responsible for operating reach forklifts. cherry pickers and other material handling equipment to safely and efficiently move products and materials throughout our facility. Your attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with various teams will ensure that our operations run smoothly and effectively. Temp-to-Perm in Just 45 Days Weekly Pay & Full Benefits: 401(k), Health, Dental, Vision Career Growth & Forklift Certification Opportunities Schedules: 1st Shift: Monday - Friday (9 AM to 5:30 PM) Pay: $17.50/hr 2nd shift Monday - Friday (11AM - 7:30 PM) Pay: $17.50 + $1 shift diff Required skills & experience Reach and order picker experience required RF Scanner What You'll Do: Operate Reach Truck and Order Picker ? Unloads inbound trucks (inter-company deliveries, vendors, etc.) ? Loads outbound trucks (inter-company shipments, off-site warehouse, etc.) ? Locates and retrieves products as well as replenishes picking locations using FEFO methodology. ? Moves pallets on the dock. ? May be required to physically stack/transport product from larger sterilization pallet to regular pallet before moving by forklift to dock. ? Ensures all assigned duties are safely completed in a timely manner in accordance with department standards and by following department procedures. Job Requirements High School diploma, GED or 2 years of relevant experience required. Experience with MHE. Including but not limited to Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, Counter Balance (slip and clamp), and Dock Stocker. Must be able to obtain Forklift Certification to meet client guidelines. Good verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment. Ability to read and interpret distribution documents. Ability to work under minimal supervision. May be required to operate MHE and use Voice/RF scanner. Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment. Basic analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills. Must be able to perform the position's essential functions, with or without accommodation. Physical Demands This role requires regular walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting (up to 50 lbs in some areas). Frequent hand and finger use, including repetitive motions, may be needed.
