Shift Details: 1st shift
Day Starts at: 7:00AM
Day Ends at: 7:00PM
DESCRIPTION:

Key Areas of Accountability / Responsibility
Operation of process equipment and utilities to include changing process conditions, open/closure of valves, and sterilization of piping or tanks, monitoring process conditions and adjusting as needed.
Accurately maintain proper documentation of process information
Follow all safety guidelines and immediately report any non-conformances
Maintain GMP work environment and perform housekeeping duties as assigned.
May operate computerized control systems to monitor and maintain process conditions
Add proper levels of chemicals and other additives to process as needed based on calculations or as determined
Other duties as assigned by management.
Ensure Quality procedures, Management Directives and Quality.
Report any quality deviations or non-conformances that you observe.
Support routine Quality talks/briefings with staff to raise Quality awareness (for those with direct reports)
Has the authority to intervene in the event of a quality or safety protocol concern

Complexity of the job:
The position requires a range of competencies from the ability to work with minimal supervision, to apply good judgment, to work safely and responsibly, to be able to adapt to change, and to be reliable & conscientious when coming to work.

Knowledge and educational level:
High School diploma or equivalent
High degree of manual dexterity and good mechanical and technical aptitude
Good verbal and written communication skills
Able to work a 12-hour rotating shift
Close attention to detail
Computer knowledge preferred

Required level of experiences
Basic entry-level knowledge of manufacturing setting.
Ability to communicate effectively with department personnel.
Ability to complete accurate documentation
Minimal level problem solving techniques.
Basic mathematics skills required

Physical Requirements
Work safely in manufacturing environment that utilizes audible signals and alarms.
Demonstrate visual recognition of workplace hazards; and
Read and comprehend labels and MSDS sheets.
Reach with hands and arms.
Effectively communicate using radios and telephones in manufacturing/materials environment
