Position Summary
The Facilities Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the safe, secure, and environmentally-sound operations of the entire facility in a cost-effective manner. This role focuses on long-term asset preservation, preventive maintenance, and strategic planning. The Facilities Maintenance Manager leads the maintenance team by assigning workloads, providing training, monitoring performance, and ensuring work is performed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise, train, and manage the maintenance team on a daily basis.

Oversee facilities projects and coordinate with maintenance vendors to ensure high levels of cleanliness and attention to detail.

Source and procure mechanical parts required for repairs and modifications.

Act as liaison between contractors and the Parker team to ensure project alignment and successful execution.

Inspect and review all work performed for accuracy, quality, and completion.

Collaborate with EH&S to implement and maintain a facility-wide preventative maintenance program.

Plan facility development aligned with strategic business objectives.

Ensure continuity of essential services including maintenance, security, cleaning, catering, and waste disposal.

Confirm compliance with all health and safety regulations within the facility.

Maximize efficient use of facility space and resources.

Verify that staff and contractor work is completed satisfactorily; follow up on deficiencies.

Respond promptly to emergencies or urgent maintenance issues.

Analyze costs and secure best value for services and supplies.

Apply performance management techniques in alignment with Parker Lean System practices.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Travel Requirements: 5?10%.

Qualifications
Education:

Bachelor?s degree required.

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated leadership in maintenance or facility management.

Skills and Abilities:

Strong administrative capabilities with keen attention to detail.

Proven ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

Practical knowledge of electrical systems and general facility maintenance.

Customer-focused approach to safety and service.

Experience in Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively across organizational levels.

Working Conditions
Office / Sedentary Environment:

Ability to sit for extended periods (66%+ daily), use a computer, and lift up to 10 lbs.

Manufacturing / Non-Sedentary Environment:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs (33%?66% of the day).

Potential exposure to dust, noise, and manufacturing equipment.
