Position: Burrer Specialist Location: North Hollywood, CA Pay: $37.03/hour Shift: 1st shift Employment Type: Contract through JobsRUs.com Benefits: Weekly pay, benefits available Job Summary: As a Burrer Specialist, you will perform precision hand-finishing and deburring of aerospace components, working with mechanical and electrical assemblies to meet exacting standards. You'll interpret blueprints, utilize specialized tools, and execute detailed internal and external burring processes. Key Responsibilities: Determine and prepare proper burring tools; grind/sharpen as needed Perform detailed hand burring and lapping for intricate aerospace parts Salvage and rework complex or high-value components Apply metal stamping on parts with orifice flow identifiers Work from blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions Judge micro-finishes and maintain exacting tolerances Use drill presses, resistance equipment, lathe, TIG welder, etc. Adhere to safety and quality standards Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or GED Experience: 5+ years in the aerospace industry Strong knowledge of shop mathematics and blueprint reading Skills: Skilled in internal/external burring techniques Ability to contour and sharpen burring tools Detail-oriented, organized, and accurate Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks Work Environment: Sit or stand for long periods; lift up to 50 lbs with help Use safety glasses, apron, and proper footwear Exposure to shop noise, dust, and fumes | |
