Weekly Pay! $33.94/Hour Shift Details: 1st shift Working Days: Monday - Friday Day Starts at: 7:00AM OR 8:00AM Day Ends at: 4:00PM OR 5:00PM DESCRIPTION: Summary: Experienced technician installing conduit and bending conduit to run fiber through and installing access points. Mounting switches and racks and having the ability to console into a switch so that a remote team can drop configurations on. Installing point to multipoint. Qiang any kind of network. Contractors will walk around to do a post install heatmap to show where the Wi-Fi is installed. Contractor will be traveling to different customer sites in LA County. Must Have: how to bend Conduit Testing Ethernet Cable Clean and test Fiber Past Experience with Wi-Fi networks (AP Switch) Experience: 2+ years of experience Good to Have: Spectrum Analyzer- one year of experience RF experience Day to Day or Must Haves: Different site installs. Queuing third party vendor work. Understand how to mount an access point on ceiling, walls and poles. Understanding how to run and terminate Ethernet cables from APS TO networks closets to IDFS to MD FS. Test the Wi-Fi do speed testing. Test fiber optics, shoot light through, see where it is, see if it's dark fiber or not. Understand how to run cables through ceilings, walls, you know, raise floorings while doing proper cable management. Ensuring kind of the building codes. (Installing up to codes.) A physical role and understanding how to configure a switch. Understating how to run cables correctly, bending conduit. Experience: 2-3 years of experience Experience installing network equipment The main function of a Field Technician is the planning, expansion and commissioning of radio network or repeater systems on site (in workshops of manufacturers and operators of trains, in technical rooms in railway and road tunnels, shopping centers, airports, football stadiums, etc.). Job Responsibilities: Acceptance measurements with a spectrum analyzer, creation of system documentation, measurement and maintenance reports Product support and technical contact for the customer by phone and on site Fault rectification, system measurements, error analyzes, and maintenance work your profile Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required with completed technical training in the field of electrical engineering, electrical installer or in radio or television technology 2-4 years of experience Professional experience with the installation and commissioning of electronic devices Knowledge and experience in the radio field (HF or mobile radio or spectrum analyzer) is an advantage- Good to have Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Office applications Willingness to work away from home, flexible working hours and open to learning new things Class B OR Class C driving license |
