Weekly Pay! $27.35/Hour Shift Details: 1st Shift Description: Responsibilities: Perform activities related to all aspects of injection molding prototype using rapid tooling strategies. Collaborate with new product development engineers to evaluate part or mold design-for-manufacturability (DFM). Responsible for internal machining equipment used to finish mold tooling components. Extensive experience using Mills, CNC Equipment, Grinders, Lathes, and other related machining equipment for mold fitment of final tolerances of +/-.0002. Work with Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) technologies and external suppliers to network new tooling construction for the creation of prototype injection molds. Actively implement new technologies for best practices to advance injection molding rapid prototyping using rapid tooling optimization and practices. Recommend the acquisition of any new additional software and equipment for the future. Coordinate efforts with CAE Additive Manufacturing Team members, internal BD stakeholders, and external parties working from concept through the creation of final prototype molded parts. Knowledge and experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in utilizing various tooling and injection molding techniques working with product development, preferably within the medical industry Preferably proficient in using three-dimensional CAD solid modeling software packages, preferably SolidWorks, Creo or Space Claim Preferably direct knowledge of injection molding process and techniques Ability to develop and implement new technologies in plastics injection molding tools, processes and prototype platforms Manage multiple assignments in accordance with project prioritization Manage a weekly schedule for updates of current projects BD04123JD | |
