Job Summary

Under direct supervision, the Assembly Technician will be trained to support the preparation and manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates, and/or medical devices. This role is essential to maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards as defined by regulatory agencies such as the FDA and OSHA.

Key Responsibilities

Complete required documentation accurately (e.g., batch records, material returns).

Learn and follow all applicable Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Operate and monitor manufacturing and assembly equipment per standard guidelines.

Perform machine set-ups and document operating parameters.

Follow process and utility flow diagrams as part of daily operations.

Transport materials safely using appropriate material handling equipment.

Maintain clean and safe working conditions; participate in area safety inspections and audits.

Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and properly handle chemicals and materials.

Participate in internal audits, safety assessments, and investigative teams as assigned.

Maintain compliance with FDA, ISO, OSHA, and all site-specific policies and procedures.

Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, yield, and efficiency.

Support other assignments or projects as directed by management.

Qualifications

Required: High School Diploma or GED OR minimum of 3?4 months of relevant manufacturing experience (If no diploma/GED, work experience must be clearly noted on resume).

Experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, or GMP-regulated industry highly preferred.

Ability to read, write, and understand English preferred.

Comfortable operating basic manufacturing tools, machinery, and pallet jacks.

Basic computer skills; ability to enter and retrieve data and use software for work-related tasks.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Additional Information

Training: Completion of the Operator Training Program is required per company guidelines.

Work Environment: Compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards is mandatory.
