We are excited to announce an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at our 48-unit apartment complex in Chambersburg, PA. This full-time position offers an hourly rate of $20-23, based on your experience. The regular work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with an additional responsibility to cover on-call duties. As our Maintenance Technician, you will be crucial in maintaining the upkeep and appearance of both the interior and exterior of our apartment complex. Your responsibilities will include: * Performing skilled tasks such as drywall repair, painting, light plumbing, basic electrical work, and basic carpentry. General cleaning skills are also preferred. * Maintaining the grounds, including snow removal. * Demonstrating flexibility in adapting to changing work priorities. * Working independently with strong self-motivation, as well as contributing effectively within a team environment. * Providing excellent customer service; experience working with senior residents is a valuable asset. To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following requirements: * 2-3+ years of proven maintenance experience, encompassing routine cleaning, drywall repair, painting, light plumbing, basic electrical work, and general maintenance repairs. HVAC experience is beneficial, and training can be provided. * Previous maintenance experience in apartment or home repair settings is advantageous. * A minimum of a High School diploma or GED is required. * Must have reliable transportation.
