Description:

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists management with coordinating activities for production and materials by gathering all data to calculate accurate cost estimates from internal and external sources.
Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Maintains the databases, reports and records that are necessary to manufacturing operations activities, by providing detailed cost estimates along with supporting rationale.
Provides general coordination support to the manufacturing floor such as processing material requisitions, sub-assembly paperwork closure and material relocation.
Provides excellent customer service through prompt responses to inquiries and routine problem solving.
Communicates effectively through phone, e-mail, and correspondence, while maintaining a professional manner.

Minimum Qualifications:
The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job.

Education Level:
Post-secondary degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectation.

Years of Experience:
3-5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing operations relating to estimating and/or manufacturing production assisting.

Ability to gather data, to compile information, and prepare reports.

Intermediate level knowledge of PC software applications and strong understanding of PC operating systems.

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job.
Work is performed primarily in an office environment.
Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 35 pounds as needed.
