Weekly Pay! $34.00/Hour Shift Details: 1st Shift Working Days : Monday - Friday Day Starts at: 08:00AM Day End at : 05:00PM Description: JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Properly load waste for transportation to disposal facilities. Prepare recyclable materials for disposal. Prepare containers for disposition of waste as well as packaging of finished products. Operate high-speed dispensers, mixers, filtration equipment, packaging equipment, pumps, and scales. Understanding and competency in all applicable environmental regulations related to duties. Including but not limited to RCRA regulations, Waste Manifests, DOT regulations, etc. Support the EHS department with over flow work during back-ups, including but not limited to: Trench, tank and waste inspections Environmental Compliance inspections Safety Compliance inspections Operate forklifts and drum trucks (two-wheel, four-wheel, hand carts). Stand (up to 100% of the time), bend 90 degrees (up to 90% of the time), walk (up to 75% of the time), push/pull (up to75% of the time), lift (up to 50% of the time), and climb stairs (up to 25% of the time). Carry materials weighing up to 55 pounds (up to 25% of the time). Work in all weather conditions. REQUIRED: Ability to read, understand, and follow written and/or verbal procedures, processes, and instructions. Knowledge of basic chemistry. Demonstrated computer literacy Knowledge of basic algebra and statistics. Ability to work independent of direct supervision. Ability to work effectively in a team environment with management and coworkers. Ability to effectively communicate with management and coworkers. Ability to complete the job without direct threat or significant risk to the health and safety of self or others. Ability to wear a respirator substantiated via quantitative fit testing. Demonstrated effort toward self-improvement by gaining new knowledge/skills and accepting new assignments. Ability to complete the job following all policies or procedures regarding safety, waste handling, and environmental regulations without direct threat or significant risk to the health, safety or environment. EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. CERTIFICATIONS: Hazmat Technician certification. |
