JobsRUs.com is seeking a highly experienced Supply Chain Manager for our client located in Hauppauge, NY!

Pay Rate: $65-75.00/hour

Schedule: Weekly Pay

Position Summary:
The Supply Chain Manager will provide strategic leadership for all Supply Chain Management functions at the Hauppauge site. This includes procurement, planning, logistics, inventory control, and cash flow and asset management. The ideal candidate will drive initiatives that support operational excellence, cost efficiency, and timely customer deliveries, while actively participating in site leadership meetings and projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee procurement and materials management: order placement, supplier management, price negotiation, and regulatory compliance.

Provide matrix leadership for Production Planning and MRP systems, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with business goals.

Achieve and maintain division sales targets, 100% on-time deliveries, and inventory objectives.

Define and implement automated systems for material flow and supply chain visibility.

Align all material policies with corporate inventory control strategies.

Support and drive corporate purchasing initiatives including supplier consolidation and quality certifications.

Collaborate with suppliers on inventory management contracts and strategic sourcing.

Ensure compliance with internal/external audits related to supply chain functions.

Manage department budgets and cost reduction programs effectively.

Foster continuous improvement through Lean principles, Kanban, and Kaizen activities.

Mentor and develop team members, ensuring alignment with company values and objectives.

Benchmark and integrate best practices in supplier management.

Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in Business, Engineering, or Materials Management (required)

Certifications in materials management or quality (preferred)

5+ years of purchasing/materials management experience in high-volume manufacturing with prior leadership responsibility

Strong background in supply chain systems (e.g., JIT, MRPII, APICS/CPM preferred)

Demonstrated ability in cost control, automation strategy, and data-driven decision making

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
