Position: Quality Assurance Technician Location: Atlanta, GA Pay: $18.00/hour Schedule: 9 AM - 8 PM (Sun - Thurs) (Fri-Sat); 2 days off per week vary Overtime: Up to 15 hours/week Environment: Cold and wet (36??F); proper attire required We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to monitor food safety and quality standards throughout the production process. This role involves conducting HACCP and GMP checks, coaching employees on best practices, and ensuring compliance with food safety procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Perform HACCP and GMP checks; document results accurately - Conduct pre-operational inspections and ATP testing - Monitor sanitation and product flow in value-added departments - Operate metal detectors and ensure critical control points are followed - Train staff on food safety protocols and respond to quality issues in real time - Conduct environmental testing and ensure chemical storage compliance - Communicate promptly with leadership regarding any quality concerns Requirements: - High school diploma or GED (college degree preferred) - HACCP training; familiarity with GMPs and SOPs - 1+ year foodservice or produce experience preferred - Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills - Must be able to work in cold/wet conditions and lift up to 50 lbs - Ability to stand for long periods and operate processing equipment - Must be flexible for varying shifts and overtime as needed This is a hands-on role in a production environment ideal for someone detail-oriented and passionate about food safety and quality.## | |
