Pay Rate - $40/hr

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare liquid, solid, and other required formulations, and prototypes according to instructions.
Prepare analytical samples and operate analytical instruments according to SOPs and instructions with minimal supervision.
Independently conduct material characterization and prototype testing, according to SOPs and instructions.
Handle pure nicotine according to SOP; prepare nicotine solution according to instructions.
Working on different material processing, following instructions as per SOP.
Assist Principal Scientists with prototyping and 3D printing.
Assist in the installation and routine maintenance of instruments, apparatus, and equipment.
Upon request, independently conduct literature survey, create design of experiments, execute according to the plan, and summarize results.
Adhere to safety procedures and protocols to conduct chemistry, ingredient handling, material processing, and testing experiments.

Requirements:
Degree (BS minimum) in chemistry, materials science, polymer engineering, chemical engineering, or related scientific and engineering discipline.
Ability to follow SOPs and willing to work on routine assignments.
Ability to write procedures.
Willingness and ability to learn new techniques and develop new skills.
Ability to develop new methods and test new matrices.
Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
