Job Title: QA Plant Monitor Pay Rate: $20.00/hour Primary Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday?Friday, 5:00 PM ? 5:30 AM Flexibility Required: May occasionally cover 1st Shift, Sunday?Thursday, 5:00 AM ? 5:30 PM Location: Industrial/Warehouse/Lab setting Key Responsibilities: Conduct quality checks on cottonseed in raw and processed forms Perform and record tests such as: Truck Sampling Acid % Dryer/Buffer Temp Bushel Weights, pH Tare Analysis, Seed Appearance Bag & Calibration Checks Cleanout Percentages and Downtime Coding Enter data into monitoring spreadsheets Report deviations from quality parameters Assist with product inspections and plant cleanouts Follow SOPs and maintain clean, safe workspace Work near/with industrial equipment (e.g., dryers, scales, delinter) Use lab tools like pH meters, temp probes, seed counters, etc. Qualifications: Strong attention to detail Reliable and punctual Basic math and Microsoft Excel skills Technical aptitude preferred Able to stand/walk for extended periods in an industrial environment Additional Notes: No interview required ? hiring based on resume In search of stable work history PPE provided (glasses, gloves, boots, etc.) | |
