Job Title: Maintenance Worker (Heavy Picker) Location: Santa Fe Springs CA 90670 Schedule: 8:00AM ? 4:30PM Days: Monday to Friday (40 hours guaranteed) Full Time Temporary to Hire after 90 days will be offered conversion into company Pay Rate: Starting $16.50 hour, DOE may be offered more Job Summary: We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Worker (Heavy Picker) to join our team. This role involves a variety of tasks, including general maintenance, handy work, and occasional warehouse support. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be physically capable, and able to communicate in English or be bilingual. Key Responsibilities: ? Perform general maintenance duties, including: o Light janitorial tasks o Handy work (cutting plants & tree trimming, etc.) o Taking out trash, cutting down boxes ? Clean and maintain outdoor areas of the facility ? Remove trash and maintain cleanliness of plant surroundings ? Assist with building racks and other basic construction projects ? Operate forklift - Not mandatory (current certification is a plus) ? Perform other general warehouse tasks as needed or assigned by supervisor Qualifications: ? Prior experience in maintenance or warehouse preferred but not required ? Forklift certification preferred, but not required ? Able to communicate effectively in English (speaking, reading, and writing) or bilingual ? Must be able to lift heavy objects and work in various environments ?
