Position Title: Test Technician Pay Rate: $22/hour SuccessFactors Req: N/A Location: Oro Valley, AZ Job Summary: The Test Technician is responsible for the disassembly, assembly, rework, and minimum testing of various electrical and electronic equipment. This role supports the production schedule through timely and accurate test processes, adherence to safety protocols, and contribution to continuous improvement efforts. Core Responsibilities: Follow written and verbal instructions to complete assigned tasks. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly workstation. Maintain acceptable attendance and safety records. Learn and perform testing and troubleshooting of various electrical/electronic products. Complete required training to stay current with job-related knowledge and skills. Work independently or collaboratively to meet fast-paced production benchmarks. Assist with efficiency initiatives and 6S improvement projects. Support other departments as needed within the scope of expertise. Perform maintenance and alterations using current technical data (manufacturer instructions, bulletins, directives, etc.) in compliance with FAA and industry standards. Properly document all work performed in maintenance records. Complete work with limited supervision and in accordance with specifications and procedures. Ensure accurate, on-time delivery of assigned work. May be required to work overtime, nights, weekends, or variable shifts depending on production demands. Physical Requirements: Activity: ~80% sitting / 20% standing or walking indoors. Lifting: Up to 45 lbs. Tasks: Use of hand and power tools, fine motor manipulation, pushing/pulling carts or tables. Occasional: Bending, twisting, climbing, overhead reaching, kneeling, heavy lifting. Environmental Exposure: Minimal exposure to noise, chemicals, or uneven surfaces. Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience: 0?2 years in an electronics manufacturing or testing environment. Certifications: None required. Skills & Abilities: Proficiency in using manual and automated test equipment for digital and analog circuitry. Ability to read and interpret schematics and understand circuit functions. Strong technical communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience operating environmental test chambers preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. General computer literacy required. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. |
