Location: Wood Dale, IL Shift: Monday?Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Pay: $18.00/hour Start Date: Immediate openings available Type: Temp-to-Hire after 90 working days JobsRus.com is currently recruiting full-time Distribution Order Pickers for individuals looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing. Job Duties: This position involves working in a production area where products are packed into trays and cartons for shipping. Responsibilities include preparing cartons and displays, manually packing and palletizing products, and completing final quality inspections of finished goods. You will fold, tape, label, and organize cartons and trays, ensure tape dispensers are stocked, and inspect final packaging for accuracy, code dates, seals, and overall product integrity. Any out-of-spec products should be removed and reported. You will also be responsible for correctly filling cartons according to specifications, labeling and sealing cases, stacking the correct number of cartons on pallets using the proper pattern, and, when needed, using a pallet jack to move finished goods weighing up to 300 lbs.
