We are seeking to hire Audit Assistants, preferably with an HR background, for our client in Westbrook, ME! This is a 6-8 week assignment, ONSITE. $17.64/Hour Weekly Pay! Make some extra cash before the holidays! Westbrook ME office- 5 days in office Monday- Friday, 5 hours/day Start time: 8:30 am (1/2 hour lunch) Duration: 6 weeks- 10/27/25- 12/7/25 (possible 2 week extension, if needed) Experience: Intermediate- we need workers who will be able to start with limited training. Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Temporary I-9 Audit Assistant to support our People Operations team in conducting a comprehensive audit of Form I-9 records. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with federal employment eligibility verification requirements and maintaining accurate employee documentation. REQUIRED Skillsets: Punctuality/Attendance Detail Orientated Ethical Key Responsibilities: ? Review and verify existing Form I-9 documentation for completeness and compliance with federal regulations. ? Identify and flag incomplete or incorrect I-9 forms. ? Maintain confidentiality and data integrity throughout the audit process. ? Document audit findings following a set process. ? Support other administrative tasks related to the I-9 audit as needed. Qualifications: ? High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor?s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. ? Prior experience in HR, compliance, or administrative support roles is a plus. ? Familiarity with Form I-9 requirements and employment eligibility verification processes preferred. ? Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. ? Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. ? Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with Workday or other HRIS systems is a plus. ? Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively. Work Environment: ? This is a temporary, on-site position. ?
