JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a Selector for our client in Warrendale! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $20.00/Hour Shift: Sunday-Friday (off Saturday and one day during the week) 5:30 pm- until work is done (about 9-10 hours roughly) Temp to perm! Candidates should have experience working in a traditional warehouse environment. This facility does not use conveyor belts, so employees must be comfortable being on their feet for 10?12 hours per day and have strong spatial awareness, as workers are constantly moving throughout the space. The role involves picking 100?140 items per hour. Average orders include around 40 pieces, but this can vary greatly?some larger orders, such as weekend restaurant chain deliveries, may exceed 100 pieces. While previous order selection experience is preferred, candidates with general warehouse experience will be considered and can be trained. After about four weeks, successful employees should be picking 80?100 pieces per hour, and reaching 100+ per hour after six weeks. Experience operating an electric pallet jack is required, and familiarity with a stand-up reach truck is preferred (this will be used if converted to permanent employment). Applicants must also be comfortable working in a cold or wet environment and be able to provide their own PPE for cold conditions. A strong attendance record?with at least six months of tenure at each employer over the past two years?is required, along with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently. | |
