Weekly Pay! $31.14/Hour Shift Details: 2nd and 3rd Shift 2nd Shift - Tuesday - Saturday: 10:00am - 6:00pm 3rd Shift - Tuesday - Saturday: 5:00pm - 3:00am Job Description: The maintenance technician I is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the business goals and objectives. Essential Functions Requirements: Ability to handle facility maintenance issues. Have the correct knowledge of tools and their usage. Ability to disassemble and assemble equipment. Must be certified in the operation of a pallet jack and/or fork lift. Understanding of machine specific lockout/tagout procedures to confirm equipment can be serviced without the threat of unexpectedly starting back up. Required to have strong math skills. Must have a general knowledge of Hazmat policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Experience and Education Competencies Requirements: Education and/or Experience. Associates or university degree; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Communication/Language Skills. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) is a must. Ability to read and comprehend documents, simple instructions and product labels. Technical Competencies. Experience & knowledge in MS Office products (Excel, Word & MS Outlook). Certifications: Must be certified in the operation of a forklift/pallet jack. Mathematical Skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to calculate figures and amounts along with performing basic math functions. Reasoning Abilities. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Strong analytical skills with ability to identify opportunities. | |
