We are now hiring a Welcome Center Associate for our medical distribution facility in Plainfield, IN.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1:45 PM-10:15 PM
Pay: $20.35/hour
Location: On-site
Interview Type: In-person
Requirements: Drug test required; safety shoes required

Job Summary
The Welcome Center Associate is responsible for the efficient daily operation of inbound and outbound carrier verification procedures. This role ensures that all drivers are properly identified and that shipping and receiving documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company standards.

Key Responsibilities
Check in and check out all containers in accordance with established procedures.
Manage and control inbound and outbound transportation flows.
Conduct container security checks to ensure all safety and quality standards are met.
Record dock door and yard assignments in the yard management system.
Direct drivers to designated yard locations.
Track, log, and report data related to receipt and dispatch, including discrepancies.
Develop working knowledge of other warehouse positions and assist as needed.
Serve as backup support during absences or vacation periods.

Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Minimum of 1 year relevant experience required

Knowledge & Skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced distribution environment
Ability to read and interpret distribution documentation
Able to work with minimal supervision
Comfortable performing in a metrics-driven environment
Strong organizational, analytical, and prioritization skills
Proficient in PC use with strong Microsoft Office skills
General understanding of distribution/warehouse operations

Physical Requirements
Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, twist, grasp, and use hands for repetitive motion
Occasional climbing required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted when necessary
Normal field of vision (corrected to at least 20/40 in each eye)
Adequate hearing to safely operate material handling equipment

Moderate to loud noise levels
Frequent exposure to moving mechanical equipment and potentially precarious conditions
