The Recruiter is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting throughout the staffing division. This will be achieved through the development of local recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as creative recruiting ideas. The individual will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, our employees, and our supporting branches as well as providing high-volume recruiting capabilities. The Recruiter will be engaging, motivated, well-organized, detail-oriented, and personable. Essential Functions: Work directly with clients on their job openings. Develop and execute recruiting plans. Efficiently and effectively fill open positions. Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need. Post positions to appropriate Internet sources. Utilize the company website to post positions. Interview and review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements. Perform background and reference checks for potential employees. Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in SkilMatch. Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, and employees. Ensures timely candidate placements through vigorous recruiting efforts and maintains pipelines of qualified candidates. Utilizes recruiting resources such as websites, social media, networking events, job fairs, etc. to attract talent. Facilitates the selection process, including screening, interviews, hiring, conducting orientations, and completing all compliance paperwork. Handles and prioritizes a high volume of requisitions. Analyzes client recruiting needs and works with the account team to develop and deliver a recruiting strategy. Maintains regular communication with the client regarding order status and candidate updates. Provide exceptional customer service to our clients and candidates. Develops and delivers client orientation/onboarding programs for temporary employees. Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the recruiting field. Confidentiality concerning employee files. Professional and courteous speaking voice. Able to multitask, prioritize duties with excellent time management. High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while performing multiple tasks and adjusting to changing priorities. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Responsibility Working under limited supervision, following standardized practices and/or methods. Utilization of resources from other departments is required to perform some of the job functions. Physical Demands and Mental Demands Generally, the job requires 70% sitting, 15% walking and 15% standing. Occasional bending, squatting, moderate lifting, and reaching are required. There are a number of deadlines associated with this position, which may cause significant stress. This position requires good multitasking, which may cause moderate stress. Must deal with a wide variety of people on various issues. | |
