The Office of Equal Employment Opportunity and Workplace Culture is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated EEO Investigator / Workplace Culture Specialist to support the organization?s commitment to equal employment opportunity, inclusion, and respectful workplace practices. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with EEO laws, conducting thorough investigations, and serving as a trusted advisor across all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive EEO investigations, including fact-finding interviews, credibility assessments, documentary and comparative analysis, and evidence evaluation.

Prepare clear, thorough, and well-documented written investigative reports with defensible findings and conclusions.

Counsel employees, management, HR partners, and external parties on EEO-related complaints involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, or other policy violations.

Recommend appropriate resolutions and corrective actions for internal and external EEO complaints.

Participate in mediations, hearings, conferences, and proceedings with government agencies or internal arbitration bodies as required.

Research and remain current on federal, state, and local EEO/AA laws, regulations, and best practices.

Develop and deliver targeted EEO training and awareness programs on topics such as discrimination prevention, sexual harassment, reasonable accommodations, EEO compliance, and workplace respect.

Provide expert advice and consultation to HR partners and leadership on EEO policies, procedures, and workplace issues.

Engage effectively with management, union employees, government representatives, and other key stakeholders.

Demonstrate professionalism, discretion, tact, and diplomacy when handling sensitive and confidential matters.

Respond to Company emergencies through assignment to system emergency response activities when required.

Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications (Must Have)

Minimum 5 years of direct EEO experience.

Minimum 5 years of experience conducting EEO investigations, including interviews, credibility assessment, evidence analysis, and case conclusions.

In-depth knowledge of current EEO laws and regulations (e.g., Title VII, ADA, ADEA, AA).

Subject matter expertise in EEO investigative processes, complaint handling, and case management.

Proven ability to manage an EEO caseload efficiently while meeting deadlines and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Strong written communication skills with demonstrated experience preparing clear, concise, and defensible investigative reports.

Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Strong organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills with attention to detail.

Demonstrated professionalism and confidence when working with all levels of management and union personnel.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Valid Driver?s License.

Preferred Qualifications

Master?s degree in Labor and Employment Law, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Management, or a related field.
